The Town of Coventry looks forward to the opportunity to present our position to the Superior Court in the Johnson’s Pond matter later this week and will carry out our responsibilities under the current lease per the court’s direction.

The town is having an inspection of Dam #176 (Coventry Reservoir) performed on Monday, July 17, 2023. This body of water impounded is also known as Stump Pond.

To all residents on Johnson Pond: Due to the current water level being lowered, the Town is recommending that all boats and other watercraft be removed immediately from the water.
