Department Details
The Town Clerk’s Office is responsible for several major areas of Town government encompassing Land Evidence, Probate, Town Council, Vital Records and Licensing.
The Town Clerk is keeper of the Town Seal per Rhode Island General Laws. Certified copies of Vital Statistics, Land Evidence, Probate and Town Council Minutes may be obtained during normal business hours.
Marriage Licenses
For Marriage Licenses please call 401-822-9171 for instructions and to setup an appointment. Please call first as things change daily.
ALL OTHER BUSINESS MAY BE CONDUCTED FROM 9:00 am TO 4:00 pm.
WE ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS FOR DOG LICENSES AND VITAL RECORDS ONLY
