***NOTE***
If you are paying on a delinquent motor vehicle tax bill and we have already placed a stop on your registration, making a payment on-line will NOT automatically release your registration. In order to ensure the release of your registration, you must come into the Tax Collector’s Office at the Town Hall and request a stamped release which you can then forward or bring with you to the DMV. We periodically go through all stops placed and release those taxpayers who have since paid in full, but this is only done when normal daily work is completed.
