7/21/2023: The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) has lifted the high bacteria advisory at Briar Point Beach (Tiogue Lake). The Action Level is 60 MPN/100 ml and Briar Point Beach results came back at 13.4 MPN/100 ml. The most up-to-date beach information is available through a recorded message on RIDOH's beaches telephone line (401-222-2751) and on the Town of Coventry’s Web site.
