The famous ride of Paul Revere, and others, occurred on the night of April 18, 1775. Their warning to the colonists provided vital time to prepare and defend themselves against the upcoming attack. The Battle of Lexington and Concord the next day signified the start of the Revolutionary War and our fight for independence from the British.
The Town of Coventry joins Two Lights for Tomorrow to commemorate that famous ride. Two Lights for Tomorrow is a nationwide initiative to commence the celebration of the 250th birthday of the United States of America.
