The Town of Coventry appeared in court this morning (6/28/24) with respect to last week's filing for condemnation of Flat River Reservoir, AKA Johnson's Pond. The judge ruled in favor of the Town. The Town is now title vested as owner of Johnson's Pond and it's associated land, dam and structures as filed in the court on June 21. The court also ruled in favor of the Town's proposed valuation of $157,000 which was deposited in the court registry today.
