WHAT:
Elections 101: An Evening About Rhode Island Elections, will be held at the Board of Elections' headquarters (2000 Plainfield Pike, Cranston, RI 02921) on Tuesday, June 18th from 5:30-7:30 PM. The event is designed to give Rhode Island voters, candidates, and party officials an overview of how voting works in our state ahead of the September 10th primary and November 5th general elections.
Hear from Board of Elections staff about the mail ballot process, early voting, in-person voting, how voting machines work, drop boxes, results reporting, and post-election risk limiting audits. Voting machine demonstrations will be available and tours of our facility will also be offered.
